For the second part of the example for the probability that reaction time will exceed two seconds, put "2" in the "Start" box and some large number (4 or more will do) in the "End" box. [Remember to press the "Return" or "Enter" key after changing numbers in the boxes.]
For Example 4.16, replace the Mean and StDev with 0 and 1, respectively. Then enter the desired number of standard deviations in the Start and End boxes.

Note: The calculations from this applet are generally more accurate than those based on tabled values in the textbook.
