Note the sum of the squared errors indicated below the red error meter on the left. Find that number in the SAS output in Figure 12.14. Drag the regression line to minimize the sum of squared errors. The resulting proportional reduction in error (PRE) is the same as R-square in the SAS output. Also, find the new error value in the SAS output.
